Basically, they are encouraging people to click on their GeoPPC page. I reported this to GeoPPC.

Well then, I guess I did right by reporting them. Btw, that paid email did not repeat today. Maybe GeoPPC already talked to them.

They are again asking people to search. I deleted the email, but should get another tomorrow. I will post it then. It is not for geoppc this time, but for a private branded search engine. Still, I am sure it is not right to encourage people to search.

Got another email. They thanked me for telling them and said they will remove it. I do believe that the first case, the one with the contest, was, perhaps, them not knowing they should do that. They stopped. The second one could be from a member or an advertiser. In any case, Sebas said it will be fixed.

I notified the ad affiliate sites. Hopefully they will remove those members.

This is very sad. I didn't know this practice still existed. I guess I just don't belong to a lot of search sites. I was a member of one program a few years back, that really forced searches...the site failed....

I think it was a few ads that someone purchased.
